This site is a personal site for David and Thao. We are both IT professionals with backgrounds in project management, web design, systems security, architecture, and other areas of website management. Here we mainly use this as a playground for various research and development activities, or just sharing notes on some of our other interests.

Pokémon

Thao and I are pretty big Pokémon fans. We’ve been playing Pokémon Go since around the time it first came out. We’ve also started collecting a number of MegaConstrux sets like the Pokeball series and others. We even went to one of the Chicago Go Fests.

Lego

Ever since the pandemic started forcing people to stay home, even made our jobs virtually full time telework, we started building Lego sets. We were particularly fond of the architecture sets, but as they don’t come out with new ones very frequently, we build anything that strikes our interests. Might be a Brickhead or App controlled set, but it’s not uncommon for us to be adding new Legos to our collection on a pretty regular basis. We’ve even gotten our friends and family building Lego.
